One Pot Chicken Mushroom Fusilli
A quick, delicious one-pot pasta dish — minimal mess, maximum flavour.
Ingredients: (serves 2)
1tsp Olitalia E/V Olive Oil
1tbsp Flora Original Spread
300g Chicken Breast (cubed)
1tsp Garlic Aromat Seasoning
400g Fusilli
1pkt Knorr Mushroom Sauce
150g Mushrooms (sliced)
1 Small Shallot (finely diced)
Fresh Basil (chopped)
Salt & Pepper (to taste)
Method:
Add the Aromat seasoning to the chicken and let it rest in the fridge for a couple of hours.
In a large casserole or pot, fry the shallot in the olive oil and butter until softened.
Add the chicken to the shallot and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
Add the mushrooms and cook for a further 2 minutes on a medium heat.
Mix the Knorr Sauce with 500ml of water.
Add it to the pot and mix well.
When it starts to boil, lower the heat and add the pasta.
Give it a mix and cover the pot.
Cook on a low flame until the pasta is ready. You need to stir it halfway through and check if it needs to be added some water.
Finally add the chopped basil (or baby spinach) and some freshly ground pepper. You shouldn’t need any salt but adjust accordingly.
