Oriental Style Ravioli
Ingredients for 2 persons:
12 Maypole Rabbit Ravioli
1tsp Olive Oil
2tsp Cornflour
1 Spring Onion
Crispy Seaweed (optional)
Directions:
Place the frozen ravioli in a non-stick pan, arranging them in a circular pattern. It's crucial to use a non-stick pan to ensure the success of this dish.
Drizzle the ravioli with oil.
Heat the pan over medium heat and allow the bottom of the ravioli to lightly crisp up without disturbing them to maintain the pattern.
Meanwhile, prepare a mixture of cornflour and room-temperature water.
After approximately 3 minutes, gently pour about 1cm of the cornflour mixture over the ravioli.
Cover the pan with a lid and reduce the heat slightly.
Allow the ravioli to steam for about 12 minutes before removing the lid.
Continue cooking until all the water evaporates and the cornflour begins to crisp up.
Once completely dry, carefully flip the ravioli onto a plate, cut them into individual pieces, and serve with crispy seaweed and thinly sliced spring onion.
For added flavour, serve with some soy or sweet chilli sauce for dipping.
