2 Ingredient Hazelnut Bread

Need a dessert in no-time? This is the easiest bread/cake you can bake! The beauty of it is that you can use practically any ice cream flavour.


Ingredients:

  • 500g (1 tub) Maypole Hazelnut Ice cream

  • 325g of Self-Raising Flour


Method:

  1. Let the ice cream sit at room temperature until it’s soft but not completely melted.

  2. Preheat the oven to 175°c

  3. Grease or line a loaf pan with parchment paper.

  4. In a large bowl, combine the softened ice cream and self-raising flour. Do not over-mix.

  5. Pour into the pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

  6. Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  7. Let it rest in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

  8. Serve with honey, berries and a dash of powdered sugar.
