Garlic Honey Pork Belly

Ingredients:

  • 500g Pork Belly

  • 2tbsp Olive Oil

  • 20 Garlic Cloves

  • 1/2tsp Fennel Seeds

  • 2tbsp Honey

  • 1tsp Apple Vinegar

  • A handful of Fresh Basil

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions:

  • 1. In a hot skillet fry pork belly in olive oil for 5 minutes per side on medium/high heat. Season well with salt & pepper.

  • 2. Add garlic cloves, fennel seeds, honey, and vinegar and continue for further 5 minutes. Mix frequently.

  • 3. Lower heat, add basil, cover and simmer for 20minutes.

  • 4. Uncover and continue cooking for another 5 minutes.

  • 5. Serve with mashed potato.

  • 6. Enjoy!
