Fruitamisu’

A fruity version of an Italian classic.


Ingredients:

  • 250g Mascarpone Cheese

  • 200g Lamb Brand Topping Mix

  • 200ml Cold Milk

  • 1/2tsp Vanilla Essence

  • 2 Cans Dunia Peach Halves

  • 10g Cocoa Powder

  • 10g Lamb Brand Sliced Almonds

  • 400g Lady Fingers Biscuits (Savoiardi)


Method:

  1. Open the peach cans and drain the syrup in a small dish.

  2. Place the mascarpone cheese in a bowl, add the vanilla, topping mix, and cold milk.

  3. Whip with a hand mixer until it’s firm and creamy.

  4. Dip the ladyfingers in the syrup, and make and layer them in your serving dish. (20x20cm)

  5. Add a layer of cream, followed by a layer of peaches. You can leave them whole or sliced, as you prefer.

  6. Place a thin layer of cream, followed by another layer of ladyfingers and finish it with the remaining cream.

  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. 

  8. Add a thin layer of cocoa powder and roasted almonds before serving.
