Beer Bread

A quick and delicious no-knead Beer Bread recipe. Try it toasted with some butter. Heaven!


Ingredients:

  • 375g Self-Raising Flour

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 50g Honey

  • 330ml Efes Beer(room temperature)

  • 40ml Salted Butter (melted)


Method:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C 

  2. Grease the loaf tin with melted butter. This will help the bread from sticking.

  3. Whisk together the flour, salt, and honey in a large bowl.

  4. Pour in the beer and mix gently until just combined.

  5. The batter will be thick and lumpy; don’t overmix!

  6. Spoon in the dough, then drizzle the remaining butter on top.

  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean.

  8. Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing.

  9. Can be enjoyed fresh or toasted.
