Tuna & Bulgur Wraps
Quick lunch fix. Delicious tuna chunks and seasoned bulgar wheat enclosed in a crunchy toasted tortilla wrap.
Ingredients (2 wraps)
Method:
Place the bulgar wheat in a small saucepan and add about an inch of water above the wheat amount.
Add the tuna seasoning to the pot, stir and bring to a gentle boil.
Lower the flame and simmer for about 12 minutes. By now, the water should have evaporated, and the wheat is cooked.
Add a knob of butter and stir well. This will give flavour and give a shine to the wheat.
Let it cool down, then stir in the tuna chunks. Do not overmix.
Divide the mixture onto two tortillas, and some freshly chopped parsley, and roll them into a burrito, tucking in the sides.
You can serve them like this or else toast them in the oven or a hot skillet to give them an extra crunch.
