Kinnie Wings

Chicken wings glazed with a sticky Kinnie sauce. Yum!

Ingredients:

  • 500g Chicken Wings

  • 1/4tsp Salt

  • 1/4tsp Pepper

  • 1/4tsp Garlic Granules

  • 1tsp Olive oil

  • 1tbsp Soy Sauce

  • 300ml Kinnie

  • 1tbsp Maltese Honey

  • 1tsp Orange Zest

  • Green Garlic

Directions:

  • 1. In a bowl combine chicken with salt, pepper and garlic granules.

  • 2. Fry together with a teaspoon of olive oil at medium-high heat for around 4 minutes per side until they get a crispy coating.

  • 3. Add a tablespoon of soy sauce and 300ml of Kinnie.

  • 4. Bring to a boil and add honey and orange zest.

  • 5. Reduce heat and simmer until liquid evaporates and caramel is formed.

  • 6. Serve with some fresh chopped green garlic.
