Cookies & Cream French Toast

What’s better than waking up to the smell of fresh French Toast? Add some of Benna’s new milkshake and you have a winner!


Ingredients: (serves 2)

  • 4-6 Sliced Brioche Muffins (or toast bread)

  • 2 Fresh Eggs

  • 1/2tsp Ground Cinnamon

  • A Pinch of Salt

  • 400ml Benna Cookies & Cream Milkshake

  • 1tbsp Benna Unsalted Butter

    To serve:

  • Fresh Strawberries/Blueberries

  • Maple Syrup

  • 2 Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • Powdered Sugar (optional)


Method:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk up the eggs, cinnamon, salt and milkshake.

  2. Soak the bread/muffins in the mixture for 30-40 seconds.

  3. Heat up a non stick skillet and melt the butter on a low-medium flame. 

  4. Drip the muffins to remove excess liquid, then fry for about 5 minutes on each side. Do not touch them before flipping so you get a nice slightly charred texture.

  5. Serve with berries, maple syrup, crushed cookies and powdered sugar.

  6. Do not forget a nice glass of cookies & cream milkshake!
