Nacho Chicken Nuggets
Delicious crispy nacho chicken nuggets with a taco flavour centre.
Ingredients (makes 16-20 pieces)
500g Chicken Breast (minced)
1pkt Santa Maria Taco Seasoning Mix Original
Santa Maria BBQ Sauce Original
2 Coccodi Italian Medium Barn Eggs
150g Plain Flour
Method:
Place the minced chicken in a bowl and sprinkle the taco seasoning on top.
Mix well together with a spoon or better with your hands.
Ensure that you incorporate the seasoning evenly without any lumps.
Crush the nachos with a food processor and place them in a bowl.
Whisk 2 eggs in a separate bowl and place the flour in a third one.
Take a spoonful of the chicken mixture and shape it into a small patty or nugget.
Coat it with the flour, followed by the egg, removing any excess.
Finally, coat it well with the nacho crumbs.
Place them onto a baking sheet or air fryer.
Spray some olive oil on top and air fry at 170°c for about 18 minutes.
Alternatively, you can bake them at 200°c for about 20 minutes.
They should be nicely golden brown and well done on the inside.
Serve them with BBQ sauce or any sauce of your choice.
