Cottage Cheese Wraps

This wrap base is an alternative to the traditional wheat wrap. Delicious, quick to make and high in protein! Prepare in 5 minutes, bake, and add your favourite toppings.


Ingredients: (1-2 portions)

Wrap Base:

  • 200g tubs Olympus Cottage Cheese

  • 2 eggs

  • 20g Parmesan Cheese (grated)

  • 1/2tsp Dry Oregano

  • 1/4tsp Garlic Powder

  • Salt & Pepper (to taste)

Toppings:

  • Lettuce

  • Tomato

  • Chicken Breast

  • Edrini Prosciutto

  • Sliced Cheddar

  • Balsamic Vinegar


Method:

  1. Place the cottage cheese, eggs, Parmesan, oregano, garlic powder, and seasoning in a food processor or hand blender bowl.

  2. Blend for about a minute until nice and creamy.

  3. Line a large shallow baking dish with baking paper. This is essential, otherwise the wrap will stick to the dish.

  4. Spread the mixture onto the baking paper at around a quarter of a centimetre. 

  5. Bake in a preheated 180°c oven for 30-35 minutes, until nicely browned.

  6. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool completely.

  7. Carefully lift it up from the paper, and fill it with your favourite toppings.

  8. Roll it tightly, cut in two and serve.
