Coconut Ice Cream Balls
Crispy kataifi and cinnamon shell with a soft coconut ice cream centre. A simple dessert and a different way to serve ice cream.
Ingredients:
1 tub Benna Coconut White Chocolate Artisan Gelato
150g Kataifi Noodles
1tsp Demerara Sugar
1tsp Ground Cinnamon
1tbsp Benna Unsalted Butter
Method:
Cut the kataifi into 1 cm lengths.
Melt the butter in a saucepan and toast the kataifi until golden brown.
Transfer it into a bowl and add the sugar and cinnamon.
Mix well and allow it to cool off completely.
Drop about a tablespoon of ice cream into the kataifi mixture and form into balls.
Freeze them immediately to hold the shape.
Allow them to soften up for about 3 minutes before serving
