Baci Perugina Imbuljuta

The name says it all. Baci with Imbuljuta is a match made in heaven! This is not the traditional Imbuljuta, but the most chocolatey one!

Ingredients

  • 350g Dried Chestnuts 

  • 130g Sugar

  • 30g Cocoa Powder

  • Grated Orange Zest (1 orange)

  • Grated Mandarin Zest (1 mandarin)

  • 1tsp Mixed Spice

  • 1tsp Cinnamon

  • 1/2tsp Ground Cloves

  • 160ml NestlĂ© Ideal Condensed Milk

  • 600ml Water

  • 150g Perugina Gran Blocco Cioccolato Latte

  • 100g Chopped Baci Chocolates

  • 1tsp Corn Flour

Directions:

  1. Soak dried chestnuts in water overnight and discard the liquid. 

  2. In a saucepan combine all the ingredients except the Baci, Perugina milk chocolate, and cornflour.

  3. Mix well and bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to a gentle simmer for 30 minutes.

  4. Combine the cornflour with some warm water.

  5. Add the Cornflour to the pot.

  6. Add the milk chocolate and mix well until the chocolate has dissolved.

  7. Crush the chestnuts and mix well.

  8. Cover and simmer for another 10 minutes.

  9. Serve warm with chopped Baci and orange zest on top.
