Pizza Rolls
Your kids don’t like their greens? Try this hack. Soft, cheesy, and secretly packed with healthy spinach.
Ingredients (Makes 8 rolls)
8 slices Crustless Sandwich Bread
8 Emborg Cheese Sticks
Emborg Cream Cheese
4 tbsp Smooth Tomato Sauce
40g Emborg Frozen Spinach
1tbsp Dry Oregano
2tbsp Olitalia E/V Olive Oil
Fine Salt
Method:
Thaw the spinach, remove the excess water, and set aside.
Roll each slice flat with a rolling pin.
Spread a thin layer of cream cheese.
Lay a cheese strip along one edge.
Add some spinach next to it and top it with some tomato sauce.
Sprinkle some oregano and roll tightly.
Place the rolls seam-side down on a lined tray.
Brush tops with melted butter or olive oil and drizzle some salt for flavour.
Bake at 190°C for 10–15 minutes until golden.
Let them sit for 5 minutes so the cheese sets slightly before slicing.
