Malt Powerballs

Quick, nutritious power balls with malted sweetness, chewy dates, oats, with a hint of coconut. Perfect for an on-the-go boost.


Ingredients: (12-14 balls)

  • 100g Rolled Oats (lightly toasted in a hot oven)

  • 50g Pitted Prunes

  • 150g Soft Dates (pitted)

  • 30–40g Horlicks

  • 40g Peanut Butter

  • 20g Honey

  • 15–30ml Warm Water (only if needed)

  • Pinch of salt

  • 30g Desiccated Coconut (unsweetened)

  • 20g Chocolate Chips


Method:

  1. Blend the dates and prunes into a paste.

  2. Add the oats, Horlicks, peanut butter, coconut, honey, and a dash of salt.

  3. Mix or blend until a sticky dough forms.

  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  5. Add a little warm water only if the mixture feels too dry.

  6. Roll into balls.

  7. Chill for 20–30 minutes to set.
