Malt Powerballs
Quick, nutritious power balls with malted sweetness, chewy dates, oats, with a hint of coconut. Perfect for an on-the-go boost.
Ingredients: (12-14 balls)
100g Rolled Oats (lightly toasted in a hot oven)
50g Pitted Prunes
150g Soft Dates (pitted)
30–40g Horlicks
40g Peanut Butter
20g Honey
15–30ml Warm Water (only if needed)
Pinch of salt
30g Desiccated Coconut (unsweetened)
20g Chocolate Chips
Method:
Blend the dates and prunes into a paste.
Add the oats, Horlicks, peanut butter, coconut, honey, and a dash of salt.
Mix or blend until a sticky dough forms.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Add a little warm water only if the mixture feels too dry.
Roll into balls.
Chill for 20–30 minutes to set.
