Bacon Prawns And Couscous Salad

Bacon and Prawns? Yes please!

Served with pepper and spiced couscous.


Ingredients:

  • 100g Prawn Tails (without shell)

  • 200g Streaky Bacon

  • 1tsp Olitalia Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • Knorr Aromat Seasoning

  • 1tsp Sesame Seeds

  • 1 Jar Knorr Soffritto Classico

  • 1 Red Bell Pepper

  • 1 bag (250g) Tipiak Couscous With Spices

  • 150ml Water (room temperature)

Directions:

  • 1.Cut the bacon in half and wrap it around each prawn.

  • 2.Place them on a baking dish with some E/V Olive Oil.

  • 3.Drizzle with sesame seeds and Aromat.

  • 4.Bake in a 220°c oven for 20-30 until golden and crispy.

  • 5.In the meantime place the soffritto in a saucepan, add the chopped peppers, and stir well until cooked on medium-high heat. It should take 4-5 minutes.

  • 6.Reduce the heat, add a bag of spiced couscous and stir well.

  • 7.Add the water and wait until it starts to boil.

  • 8.When it boils, turn off the heat, give it a stir and cover for 5 minutes.

  • 9.After 5 minutes, fluff the couscous with a fork and serve it with the prawns.

  • 10. It is also well served cold.
