Rustic Twistees Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 150g Twistees

  • 200g Plain Flour

  • 100g Semolina

  • 1/4tsp Instant Yeast

  • 1/4tsp Sugar

  • 15ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 150ml Lukewarm Water

  • Salt to Taste

Directions:

  • 1.In a food processor pulverize the Twistees and add the rest of the ingredients to them.

  • 2.Work it until you get a dry flakey dough.

  • 3.Knead it for about 5 minutes using some semolina to avoid it from sticking. Then place it in a bowl and cover it.

  • 4.Let it rise for about an hour.

  • 5.Open it thinly ideally with a pasta machine and cut it into a biscuit shape.

  • 6.Place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and punch 5 holes in the center.

  • 7.You can sprinkle some salt on the surface or even dry herbs like Rosemary.

  • 8.Bake in a pre-heated 200°c oven for about 10 minutes or until lightly brown.

  • 9.Enjoy them alone, with butter, cream cheese, or dips.
