Peanut Butter & Oat Log

Ingredients

  • 380g Rolled Oats

  • 2tbsp Cocoa Powder

  • 1/2tsp Vanilla Essence

  • 230g Nestlé Carnation Light Condensed Milk

  • 80ml Nestlé Ideal Condensed Milk

  • 100g Smooth Peanut Butter

  • 50g Dry Cranberries

  • 50g Chopped Walnuts

  • 1/2tsp Ground Cinnamon

  • Grated Peel of 1 Orange

  • A pinch of Salt

  • 120g Perugina Gran Blocco Fondente Extra

  • 50g Shredded Coconut

Directions:

  1. Toast the oats on a baking tray in a 180°c preheated oven for about 15 minutes. Give it a stir halfway through. Do not let them get too dark! 

  2. Place the toasted oats in a large bowl and let them cool off completely.

  3. Add the cocoa powder, cranberries, walnuts, cinnamon, orange peel, coconut, and a pinch of salt.

  4. Give the dry ingredients a good mix.

  5. Now add the Carnation condensed milk, peanut butter, vanilla essence, and the Ideal Condensed Milk.

  6. Mix everything well using a spatula. Then you can use your clean hands to finish them off.

  7. If the mixture is still a bit dry, add a little more milk. 

  8. Form it into a log shape and cover it with cling film.

  9. Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes to set.

  10. In the meantime melt the chocolate.

  11. Cover the log with the melted chocolate, decorate, and sprinkle some shredded coconut on top. 

  12. Let the chocolate solidify before serving.
