Ġelat tal-Ħelwa tat-Tork

Ingredients:

  • 300g Ħelwa tat-Tork

  • 1tin Condensed Milk

  • 1ltr Fresh Cream

  • 100g Candied Peel (optional)

Directions:

  • 1. Crumble the ħelwa and mix it well with the condensed milk. Make sure that there are no lumps left.

  • 2. Whip up the fresh cream until you get soft peaks.

  • 3. Add 3 spoons of cream to the ħelwa mixture and mix it well. This will make it runnier.

  • 4. Gently fold the ħelwa with the rest of the cream.

  • 5. Freeze for an hour, then add the candied peel and then freeze again for at least 4 hours.

  • 6. If you are not using the peel simply freeze for 4 hours or until set.

  • 7. Enjoy!
