Garlic & Wine Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 1kg Boneless Chicken Thighs

  • 1tsp Olive Oil

  • 1tsp Salted Butter

  • 20 Garlic Cloves

  • 2 Rosemary Sprigs

  • 1 glass Dry White Wine

  • Salt & Pepper

  • Asparagus & Couscous to serve

Directions:

  • 1. Place chicken pieces (skin facing down) in hot oil and butter, add the garlic, rosemary and seasoning. Fry for 5 minutes.

  • 2. Turn the chicken and season again. Fry for another 5 minutes.

  • 3. Add the wine, bring to a boil then reduce the heat.

  • 4. Cover and simmer for at least 20 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  • 5. Serve with couscous & grilled asparagus.

  • 6. Other serving alternatives are steamed vegetables, french fries or potato mash.
