Ingredients
Ingredients :
300g Pure Ground Almonds
300g Caster Sugar
3 Egg Whites
1/2tsp Mixed Spice
1/2tsp Ground Cloves
1/4tsp Almond Essence
A Pinch of Salt
Rice Paper
50g Roasted Whole Almonds
200g Novi Dark Chocolate
Directions:
In a bowl, mix together the ground almonds, sugar, egg whites, and spices until you get a sticky dough.
Place a piece of rice paper on a baking tin and put small squashed balls of dough on it.
Leave a bit of space between them because they will flatten a little.
Bake in a preheated 180°c oven for 20mins or until lightly golden.
Cool on a rack.
Melt the chocolate and brush the biscuits with it and finish with a roasted almond on top.
If the almonds are raw, roast them for about 10 minutes or when they get lightly coloured.
