Bubblegum Milk Slice

Ingredients:

  • 3tsp Unflavoured Gelatin Powder

  • 200g Topping Mix Whipped Cream Powder

  • 400ml Bubblegum Flavoured Milkshake

  • 40g Granulated Sugar

  • 40ml Boiling Water

  • 2 Pan Di Spagna (sponge) Cake Bases

  • 2tbsp Icing Sugar

Directions:

  • 1. Dissolve the gelatin in some hot water and allow it to cool down to room temperature.

  • 2. Place the topping mix in a bowl, add the milkshake and start whipping it up. It's important the milkshake is cold, directly from the fridge.

  • 3. As it starts to thicken, gently add the gelatin and keep on whipping until it forms soft peaks.

  • 4. Refrigerate for about 20mins.

  • 5. Let's do a simple syrup using the granulated sugar to an equal amount of boiling water.

  • 6. Stir until it's completely dissolved. Allow it to cool down before using.

  • 7. Drizzle some of the syrup on each part of the sponge.

  • 8. Spread the whipped cream on one of the sponge bases and spread it evenly.

  • 9. Top it with the other sponge, press gently until the cream is touching the edges, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

  • 10. Sprinkle some icing sugar on top before serving.

  • 11. Enjoy!
